Pray for Our President

November 8, 2016 the effect of the prayers and declarations of the ekklessia of America was manifest int he election of Donald J Trump.  June of 2015 when Mr Trump announced his run for the presidency, I simply exclaimed, "What is going on now?"  The Lord spoke to me saying, "Trump is my wrecking ball and he will turn all the moneychangers tables upside down."  To my regret today, I told no one but my wife what God had said to me.  During the early primaries I would not even vote for him even though I had heard the voice of the Lord.  (Yes, I can be very hard headed!)  Something transpired in me during the primaries and I finally said, OK God, if he is your choice I will get on board and support him even though I really struggle with it.   So I along with 82% of my fellow believers prayed and prayed, decreeing Mr. Trumps election.  On November 8th we saw the result of our prayers and the unlikely Mr Trump won the election and has since became the 45th president of the United States of America.

God's might wrecking ball has hit the nation with tremendous force and he is turning a lot of tables over in the process.  As this process continues the ekklessia of America must continue to do what we did to get Mr. Trump elected, PRAY AND DECREE!  Getting him into the Whitehouse and not praying for him is just pure wrong.  He will not succeed without the prayers of Christians.  God is allowing all the chaos the rise up around and against Mr. Trump so we as disciples of Jesus will remain engaged and praying.

Discipline - The Hope for the Next Generation!

Today, the homes of America are in deep trouble.  Children are rearing themselves and without discipline to develop them they are growing up without the ability to make sound decisions.  Without discipline they have no understanding of right and wrong nor the consequences of their actions.  The God given environment for the rearing of children is a home with a mother and a father.  Children need discipline and the greatest people to provide that discipline is their own biological mother an father.  Why is this true?  The answer is very simple, "It is God's plan and design for a man and woman to marry in a loving nurturing atmosphere.  In this cocoon of love a child his born and should grow into a mature adult.  The child's parents love the child enough to not only provide for them physically but to train and discipline the child enabling the child to grow into a well adjusted individual.

As we look to the events following the inauguration of our president we see the results of generations of American children growing up without the safety of a home.  America must have an awakening and revival.  During earlier revivals in our nation a common event was the reuniting of husbands and wives and great homes being developed.  Fathers went home.  Dad took his place in the home, loving his wife and children and providing the security to his family.

Fatherlessness is rampant in our nation.  The hearts of fathers must turn once again to their children and provide the discipline they need.

Networking the Hubs!

As apostolic/revival hubs are coming on the scene we must remember as they develop it is essential the hubs join hands and work together.  To work together we don't necessarily have to join an organization or denomination but we do need to connect where and when we can connect.  The body of Christ is the most disjointed and unconnected body on planet earth today.  We have isolated ourselves from each other to the point of stalling the advancement of the Kingdom.  All the hands of the body have similar traits and understand each other so they have formed the denomination of the hands, and the feet have formed their own group, that doesn't mention the legs and arms and oh my have you seen the Network of the Stomachs.  For thousands and thousands of different reasons we have divided and compartmentalized the Kingdom by gravitating to those we are like and never crossing the lines to associate with the other members of the body because they are different.

At times the foot itches and has no one to scratch it because they are isolated from the hands and the hands need to go somewhere and no one is there to carry them because heaven forbid they be seen in public with the feet.  We must develop and build our hubs but make sure we connect them to other hubs.

Apostolic Hubs

Change and transition are in the atmosphere especially in the body of Christ!  Some Christians are preparing for the great escape (rapture) while others are preparing for a great move of God, a Third Great Awakening resulting in the salvation of millions of people.  While I do believe in the imminent return of Jesus, I find no where in the Bible we are to ever stop advancing the Kingdom of Heaven in our region.  In recent years God has restored and is restoring the New Testament model of the Apostolic Hub or Apostolic Center.  Apostolic Hubs is the center of a number of different and varying ministries.  The Hub's purpose is to build and advance the Kingdom of God in a city, region, nation and the world.  The hub is led by a group of five-fold ministers with a senior leader, usually an apostle.  A successful hub will usually have a plurality of five fold leaders forming a team.

With that said, "What does a hub have to do with revival?"  Revival and awakening is not a single church event but in the New Testament it was a city or regional event.  God's vehicle for equipping the saints for the work of ministry was the apostolic hub.  The believers were fathered by an apostle and equipped by the five fold ministers.  Revival can be very messy and exhausting especially when placed within the four walls of a church model.  When ministries are networked together from a central hub a spirit of cooperation and teamwork will erupt in the city or region and the Kingdom is advanced.  Most leaders prepare for great meetings by getting the nursery ready for all the new families bringing there children, training parking lot attendants to park the cars, ushers to direct the people and of course altar workers.  Everyone is busy but the city and region are not truly effected by the outpouring.  An apostolic hub will equip the saint and send them outside the four walls of the ministry to do the work of serving.

I AM AN AMERICAN!

The earliest record of my ancestors in America was a distant grandfather born in 1611 outside of Jamestown, VA.  My family has fought in every war this nation has ever participated in.  When it came time for me to serve I willingly enlisted in the US Navy serving on a river boat in Vietnam and a destroyer out of Norfolk, Va.  I love this nation and have traveled through a good portion of it.  America is not the beautiful mountains, nor the waters of the Gulf of Mexico, nor the Mighty Mississippi.  America is not Washington DC nor the small Florida city I grew up in.  America is not a land but a people.  People of every race, creed, and people group who accept the covenant our founding fathers made with God for a place of liberty and freedom.  A place from its earliest settlements destined as a launching pad to carry the gospel to the entire world.  Somehow we have lost our dream and even the definition of what true liberty and freedom is?  Freedom is not the ability to do what ever you desire, that is anarchy.  Freedom is the God given ability to fulfill your destiny without interference from outside control.

Today as many times before, I decree I AM AN AMERICAN!  I will fulfill my God given destiny of helping birth revival and awakening in this nation I love with all my heart.

A Prophetic Dream

As a teenage boy a dream changed my life.  The dream placed me on a lifelong pursuit of Jesus and revival  Long before God Chasers was written by Tommy Tenney I was a "God Chaser."  My pursuit for revival took me from Florida to Mississippi to Georgia, to Massachusetts  and Romania searching in every place if I could find the glory of Jesus.  In several places I would arrive shortly after He had been there or like in Northfield, Massachusetts, I visited the birthplace of D.L. Moody and since the residing glory of God from a hundred years before.  Then on a fateful trip to Hendersonville, Tennessee I encountered Jesus in a way I never had before and within ten seconds my life was radically changed.  The pursuit was not finished but began one of the wildest rides of my life.  That was May of 1999.  Since that time the journey has been accompanied with blind eyes opening, deaf ears hearing, dead bodies living and lives changed.  Yet, today I am still in hot pursuit of national revival for my beloved America.  That night fifty plus years ago I dreamed I was standing in the Congress of the United States praying for revival in America.

Prayer is to revival is the same as air is to breathing.  We must pray and pray until God sends revival.  Recently, the ekklesia of America rose up in prayer and changed the outcome of an election.  Now, let's rise up in prayer and birth a Third Great Awakening for our great nation.
